Urban Garden paintings ‘The Resurgence & Ecologist: A Time to Rebuild by Satish Kumar’

The UK magazine ‘Resurgence & Ecologist’ wrote and asked if they could feature my artwork next in their Nov/Dec issue on living cities with an article by Satish Kumar about Garden Cities. My paintings ‘Garden Interlude’ and ‘Urban Garden’ (which is included in the print version) speak to this growing movement of gardens knit into the fabric of urban spaces, providing green space and food security in all manner of living situations in cities. Very moved to have the language of these paintings recognized in cities all over the world as this movement of urban gardens and a new vision of city and farm connection takes hold. With people remembering the favour of food grown from good farming practises and taking this into their own hands by with their own embodied experiences of working with the soil.
